 The Gantry machines have been developed to meet the demands of one hit machining requirements. Built from modular elements using latest proven technology components. With for example Cytec integral torque spindles and 2 axis CNC heads. With innovatory table drives and high resolution measurement. The G range gantries (beam & bed types) can be supplied up to 5000mm wide with length to suit customer requirement. Machine arrangements from simple 3 axis to 5 or 6 axis suitable for heavy (steel or alloy) or light (composite) applications. BedG types allows up to 2m wide gantries driven lengthways by a single sided drive. The bed provides component and structural support . BeamG type allows gantries up to 5m wide, driven lengthways by dual (tandem) X axis drives( one each side with software synchronisation.
When increased stiffness and accuracy are required each beam side employ's twin software torque control drives The gantries can be supplied with 2 axis high performance CNC heads Further details are described in the Gantry brochure.: | |
